In Loving Memory of Georgia Edwards
The Boss of the Household
October 28, 2014 - August 27, 2025
Georgia May Edwards — affectionately known as Fluffy Paws, Daddy’s Little Cow, and Georgie Porgie — was the heart and boss of her household from October 28, 2014, until August 27, 2025. Though small in stature, Georgia carried herself with an unmistakable presence: loyal, loving, and more than a little stubborn.
She came to Trina, Josh, Brooklynn, and Carrie at a time when the family was searching for a gentle companion, one safe for children and steady in spirit. Georgia was originally purchased by another family who could not keep her — a twist of fate that brought her exactly where she was meant to be. From that moment forward, she became an irreplaceable part of the Edwards family’s story.
Georgia loved camping trips most of all, standing guard through the night. If anyone stirred from a nightmare, she would come close, nuzzle, and gently lick away the fear, lying nose-to-nose until peace returned. It was her gift to heal the restless heart.
At home, Georgia’s rule was absolute. A quick bark or a steady stare was enough to bring anyone in line, and she mastered the art of using her paws to make her desires known. She was both disciplinarian and comforter — a cuddle bug in her youth, and later a wise observer of her world. Always, she insisted on washing her face before bed, a nightly ritual that became part of her rhythm of love and attentiveness.
Georgia is survived by her devoted family — Trina, Josh, Brooklynn, and Carrie — along with her canine brother Hazzard and monkey brother Fynn. She joins her beloved canine sister, Nola, in eternal rest.
Though her paws were small, Georgia’s influence was mighty. She was the boss, the tear dryer, the heart mender, and the unshakable center of her family’s love.
