Lathe & Legacy Collection: Hand-turned Wooden Return Vessels
Eternal Tides is truly honored to introduce a distinct line of one-of-a-kind, hand-turned wooden return vessels, offering a warm and natural alternative to traditional urns. These striking pieces are handcrafted by a skilled artisan based in Prescott Valley, Arizona, whose deep reverence for nature and dedication to fine woodworking shine through in every curve and contour.
Each vessel is shaped on a lathe and finished by hand, highlighting the natural elegance of locally and regionally sourced woods such as mesquite, juniper, ironwood, and walnut. Known for their rich desert tones and unique knotting, these woods bring a rugged beauty and rustic charm to every creation. The woodworker’s commitment to preserving the material’s integrity means finishes are applied sparingly, allowing the soul of the wood to remain front and center.
With care and intention behind each piece, these vessels are more than functional—they are lasting tributes to the bond you shared. Suitable for display or scattering, they blend artistry, heart, and a touch of the Arizona wilderness into every farewell.

A note from the creator:
The wood for these was a gift from a world renowned woodturner named Mark Sillay. As I made each of these urns I kept having the same thought. “I don’t want anybody to need these but I am honored to make them”.
I have always loved all animals since I was a kid. My favorite animal is a dog. I have never met a dog I didn’t like. I have met a few dogs that didn’t like me. When that happens I just give them their space. I want to say to whoever needs these urns that I am very sorry for your loss. Pets are not just animals, pets are family.
