In Loving Memory of Onyxx
Onyxx will be remembered in many ways, but those who loved her most will always think of her as a feisty, sassy, and deeply loving friend. Onyxx had a way of filling a room without ever trying very hard: when she was in your space, you knew about it. She was the kind of cat who was comfortable with telling her people exactly what she wanted. She also clearly indicated more than what was in demand, but also how we were expected to get it.
In Loving Memory of Abbie Anderson
Sassy, loving, and just a little goofy, Abbie carried her personality right out in front of her. Her bright spark made people smile while her ever present softness made people feel safe. In the moments when her human struggled emotionally and mentally, Abbie seemed to understand intuitively; without being told she offered comfort and stability. She would come into the room, settle in close, and press her little body against her person.
In Remembrance of Lita Grey
Lita Grey came into her family’s life in October of 2025 through Homeward Animal Shelter. From that point forward, she was loved without promise of many years ahead, but as a hospice adoption: a deliberate, compassionate choice to offer comfort, dignity, and companionship in the twilight of her life. On December 12, 2025, she was formally adopted, though in truth, she had already been chosen in the ways that matter most.
In Loving Memory of Nettie Padmanabhan
Nettie Padmanabhan never entered a room quietly. She was social, curious, and just stubborn enough to make you laugh through your exasperation. She and her sister, Molly came into their family’s life through 4 Luv of Dog Rescue: they were a bonded pair who were meant to stay together. Another family had been scheduled to meet them first, but fate intervened: that family canceled their appointment and missed the opportunity of a lifetime. Two days later, Nettie and Molly were home where they belonged.
